Holdtel has been creating top quality on hold advertising productions since 1999. From the beginning our goal was to set ourselves apart from traditional music on hold providers, starting with our product.
What We Set Out To Do...
We didn't just want to keep callers on the line longer (which is all traditional music on hold does), we wanted to take it a step further, well more than a step.
Be Proactive...
We also wanted to inform and entertain callers while they were on hold, and hey since we already have their attention why not tell them about some other products or services you offer, that they might not have known about (that's called "cross-selling"... wink..wink). Ok so it may be a little selfish on our part but we figure if we help our clients increase sales they'll be in business for a long time, and where would we be without our clients......
No Cookie Cutter Scripts...
We also took a listen to some of our competitors productions, and we started to notice something. All the productions for a certain industry sounded the same. In fact they were the same, only the names and addresses were different. Many, many music on hold companies were using "fill in the blank" scripts. That's probably because most music on hold companies do not have any marketing or advertising skills. That's not the case with Holdtel On Hold Advertising. We offer 100 percent custom on hold production. Your business is unique we want your on hold advertisement to be as well.

We all know a few people who we think have nice voices right? So what difference does having a professional voice talent make?
A Professional Voice Over Artist is able to match their tempo and voice to the script in front of them. They are able to vary their inflection, tone and pitch to make your custom script flow perfectly.
Please Not Elevator Music...
Choosing your music bed is the last step in the production process. We wait until the end so we can choose a music bed that matches the tempo of the script and compliments the Voice Over. and no it is not elevator music.
Now Put It All Together...
Ok so now you have your custom script, your professional voice over, and perfectly matching background music. We could not stand the idea of taking something this beautiful and sticking it in an analog tape deck, that's why we use only state of the art Digital On Hold Players. Our Digital On Hold Players are MP3 quality and have little or no moving parts to break and the all Digital quality means that the sound will never degrade. In fact our very first client still has their production playing in their original unit, and it still sounds as great as the day it was installed.
